WILLIAM D. ZEIDENBERG, CPA Managing Member
Bill Zeidenberg brings a wealth of experience to his role as Managing Member of the ILZ Group. He has been a practicing CPA for three decades, working for an international accounting firm and a regional firm in the New York metro area before starting his own practice in 1990.
He is licensed in both Connecticut and New York, is a member of the Connecticut Society of CPA's, the American Institute of CPA's, and the exclusive CPA USA Network. Bill has successfully completed the NASD sponsored Series 6, 63 and 65 examinations.
Bill is distinguished by the bonds he builds with clients as a trusted advisor. For example, he serves as a Trustee for several clients and has many clients of longstanding (a decade, two decades, or more).
Professional leadership is also part of Bill's experience. He has served on various committees for the Connecticut Society of CPA's, has been an instructor for the University of Connecticut Continuing Education Department's program for Certified Employee Benefits Specialist Designation, and he has been a speaker for various organizations on taxes and other business related issues.
Community involvement is also of great importance to Bill. He was a founding Board Member of Trumbull's Own Chamber of Commerce, a past Chairman of the Woodbridge/Bethany Chamber of Commerce, and a past member of the Greater New Haven Chamber of Commerce's Small Business Council Speakers Bureau. In 1997 he was honored as Volunteer of the Year by the Greater New Haven Chamber of Commerce.
Bill is a former Town of Trumbull Commissioner on the 'Trumbull Day Commission' and is a past president of the Trumbull Rotary Club. He founded the Fairfield County Chapter of MADD in 1987 and served as president for four years.
He is currently serving on the Syracuse University Alumni Board of Directors and is a past president of the Syracuse University Alumni Club of Connecticut. He graduated Cum Laude from Syracuse University, with a BS degree in Accounting.
